When installing a whole-house filter is counterproductive...

Can't make this stuff up!

Filter housing was leaking bad so took it apart.
I tell the client, look at the dirty and cracked filter, this is one reason it's not always a smart move to have a filter on the mainline.

​But then I'm like, this feels strange.

The person didn't take off the plastic wrapping!!!
